Garmin Daily Report ("we", "our", "the Service") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. What Data We Collect
We collect the following health metrics from your Garmin Connect account:
- Sleep duration and sleep stages
- Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
- Stress levels
- Daily steps
- Body Battery
- Training Readiness
- Resting heart rate
- Blood oxygen saturation (SpO2)
- Respiration rate
We also collect your email address for report delivery.
2. How We Obtain Your Data
When you sign up, you provide your Garmin Connect credentials. We use these credentials to perform a one-time token exchange with Garmin Connect. The authorization token is then used for all subsequent data retrieval.
Password Handling: Your Garmin password is used exactly once during the initial authorization process. It is held in memory only for the duration of the token exchange, then immediately discarded. Your password is never stored on disk, never written to logs, and never transmitted to any third party.
3. Token Storage
After authorization, the Garmin session token is encrypted at rest using Fernet symmetric encryption. This encrypted token is used solely for retrieving your health metrics from Garmin Connect. It cannot be used to change your Garmin account settings or access other Garmin services.
4. Data Processing
- Storage: Your health metrics are stored in a database for trend analysis and historical comparisons in your daily reports.
- AI Analysis: Your metrics are sent to a third-party Large Language Model (LLM) API for generating health insights. The data sent consists of anonymized numerical metrics only — no personal identifiers such as your name, email, or Garmin username are included in AI requests.
- Report Generation: The AI-generated analysis is combined with your metrics to produce a personalized daily health report.
5. Email Delivery
Reports are delivered via Resend, a third-party email delivery service. Your email address is stored in our system for the purpose of delivering reports. Resend processes your email address solely to deliver messages on our behalf.
6. Data Retention
- Health metrics are retained for trend analysis and to improve the quality of your reports over time.
- Generated reports are stored for your reference.
- You may request deletion of all your data at any time (see "Your Rights" below).
7. Your Rights
- Unsubscribe: Every report email includes an unsubscribe link. Click it to stop receiving reports immediately.
- Data Deletion: Email us at dailyreport@garminhub.com to request complete deletion of your data, including stored metrics, tokens, and your email address.
- Data Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold about you by emailing us.
8. Third Parties
We work with the following third parties:
- Garmin Connect: Source of your health data (subject to Garmin's Privacy Policy)
- LLM API Provider: Processes anonymized metrics for AI-generated health insights
- Resend: Delivers report emails to your inbox
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

报告通过第三方邮件服务 Resend 发送。您的邮箱地址存储在我们系统中，仅用于投递报告。Resend 仅代表我们处理您的邮箱地址以完成邮件发送。
6. 数据保留
- 健康指标会被保留用于趋势分析，以持续提升报告质量。
- 已生成的报告会被保存供您参考。
- 您可以随时要求删除所有数据（请参阅下方"您的权利"）。
7. 您的权利
- 退订：每封报告邮件中都包含退订链接，点击即可立即停止接收报告。
- 数据删除：发送邮件至 dailyreport@garminhub.com 即可请求完全删除您的数据，包括已存储的指标、令牌和邮箱地址。
- 数据访问：您可以通过邮件请求获取我们持有的关于您的数据副本。
8. 第三方
